And right now, we're looking for part-time Learn to Swim Instructors to join our Pool and Leisure Centre teams across Auckland to help achieve that goal! This is a fantastic job where you don't need any formal qualifications or experience to apply – just a passion to work with our diverse community while also making a difference! We'll provide the training you need to succeed in the role. Based at Manurewa Pool and Leisure Centre, day-to-day you could expect to work on: Teaching people the basic principles of how to swim (we'll teach you how to do this!)Maintaining a fun, caring and safe environment for customers and visitorsBeing part of an amazing team serving your local communityWe have multiple shifts available with the ideal candidate having flexibility to work four days a week, with one weekend shift minimum. Monday – Friday: 3:00pm to 6:45pm Saturday – Sunday: 8:45am to 1:45pm He korero mou: About you You are a great swimmer and instructor, have a love of water, have exceptional customer service skills, and can communicate well with members of the public. You don't need any formal qualifications or experience. If you do have a recognised swim teacher qualification or previous experience as a Swimming Instructor, that would be fantastic! However, we will provide full, comprehensive training. You must also be willing to complete First Aid training.
