Our team is the cornerstone of this ambition.About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Leading Hand to join our Southern Lakes team based in Wanaka. If you take pride in delivering high-quality carpentry and excel in team collaboration, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities:Support a positive and inclusive build team environmentServe as a liaison between the carpentry team and Site ManagerManage and coordinate the team and trade partners as neededLead toolbox talks, complete timesheets, and mentor team membersPerform carpentry tasks to the highest standardsMaintain a tidy and efficient work environmentFoster a strong health and safety cultureYour Tasks May Include:Concrete work, framing, and siteworksInstalling hardware, insulation, joinery, windows, and doorsErecting walls, building stairs, and roof framingTrims, finishing, and installing cabinets, trim, and moldingPrecision tasks: repairing furnitureExperience and Skills Required:Post-qualification experience in New Zealand or Australia preferredCommercial build experience preferredExperience working in a Leading Hand position on siteProven ability to deliver on quality and high-level customer satisfactionAbility to work well in a teamThe estimated salary for this role is $60-$80 per hour, depending on experience.
