The successful candidate will lead a crew of carpenters and labourers, ensuring the completion of labouring tasks safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standard.Key Responsibilities:Lead a crew of carpenters and labourers to deliver high-quality workmanshipEnsure all tasks are completed safely and on timeOperate complex machinery as requiredStep into the Foreman's role when neededRequirements:Background and experience in civil construction and leadershipCurrent licenses - minimum of full class 1Experience and understanding of traffic management requirements on sitePreferred STMS level 1Preferred First aid certificateStrong written and verbal communication skillsQualification to use specialised equipmentKnowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in road construction and maintenanceAbility to record data using paper, desktop, or handheld computerWhat We OfferCompetitive salary of $NZD80,000-$100,000 per annumOngoing training and development opportunitiesCareer growth and progression opportunitiesPlease note: We will not be reviewing applications until after January 13th, as we all enjoy a well-earned holiday break.
