The core focus for EA Networks is maintaining a resilient electricity and fibre network while supporting the local economy and community.The Role:We are seeking a highly competent Leading Hand Line Mechanic on a full-time basis (40 hours per week), who has significant experience and solid understanding of power distribution with the ability to help supervise and lead a line crew daily. The successful applicant will provide line maintenance, line construction and line fault repair services for the community.Got what it takes?Be a competent line mechanic with a minimum of 2 years' qualified experience working on LV, 11, 22, 33 and 66kV. (Glove and Barrier and Hot Stick an advantage).Previous experience in the New Zealand power distribution industry is desirable.Current EWRB registration and practicing licence.Experience in reading and interpreting maps, plans and work instructions.Full Class 2 Drivers Licence.
