We are seeking a skilled Leading Hand to join our Wanaka & Central team based in Wanaka.

Key Responsibilities: Support and contribute to a positive, inclusive Build Team environment Serve as a liaison between the carpentry team and Site Manager (BTM) Manage and coordinate the team and trade partners as needed Lead toolbox talks, complete timesheets, and mentor team members Perform carpentry tasks to the highest standards Maintain a tidy and efficient work environment Commit to fostering a strong health and safety culture Your tasks may include: Concrete work, framing, and siteworks Installing hardware, insulation, joinery, windows, and doors Erecting walls, building stairs, and roof framing Trims, finishing, and installing cabinets, trim, and molding Precision tasks: repairing furniture Experience and Skills required: Post qualification experience in New Zealand or Australia preferred Commercial build experience preferred Experience working in a Leading Hand position on site Proven ability to deliver on quality and high-level customer satisfaction Ability to work well in team About Us Beginning in Dunedin with modest roots, Cook Brothers Construction has experienced significant growth over the past nineteen years.
