* Tier 4 leadership role in operational environment * Building and leading supporting functions e.g. quality assurance, business intelligence, coordination of training delivery * Focus on using data and systems for continuous improvement Korero mo te turanga - About the role The Property Rights scheme provides people with certainty regarding land ownership, guaranteeing what is owned, who owns it, where it is, ownership rights and how ownership can be transferred. The Property Rights group within LINZ is an operational team of approximately 200 people who are responsible for approving survey plans and titles dealings which are submitted by surveyors and conveyancers via the Landonline system. A reorganisation of the group has created three branches within Property Rights operations: People, Delivery and Enablement. The People branch is accountable for 'home' leadership of all staff, the Delivery branch is accountable for 'work' delivery of all services, and the Enablement branch supports People and Delivery by providing functions such as quality assurance, business intelligence and the coordination of training delivery. The Leader – Enablement will be someone with experience in leading and/or building supporting functions within an operational environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing change across large teams, and experience working in or with agile delivery teams to deliver on strategic and operational priorities. They will have proven experience in delivering continuous improvement through the use of data and technology. The role will directly lead a small team of 5-6 people and will require skill in leading through influence and fostering positive working relationships to get things done. The successful candidate will be based in one of our three locations; Wellington, Christchurch or Hamilton. He pukenga tou - Skills & Experience * Proven experience (5 years plus) in leadership roles (people and programme-based leadership roles will be considered). * Outstanding communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influential skills to foster positive relationships internally and externally. * A strategic thinker who fosters and inspires innovation, forward thinking and curiosity. * Proven experience leading and/or building audit or assurance functions within a regulatory environment. * Experience working in or with agile delivery teams to deliver on strategic and operational priorities. * Experience leading large programmes of work or significant projects, including the implementation of change across large operational teams. * Experience leading the development of data requirements and operational reporting for large operational teams. * Innovation, resilience, drive and authenticity.
