Job Description He aha te turanga - About the role: Our telecare team have an exciting opportunity for a confident, tech-savvy and multi-tasking support representative to join them.
The role is fixed term for 12 months, part time (20 hours per week), Monday to Friday 9am-1pm.
We are looking for someone to help focus on overall customer growth within our telecare area, with the purpose of attracting new customers, through education and promoting the benefits of a St John Medical Alarm.
This includes supporting new customer acquisition referrals, by providing accurate information on all Telecare products, services and supporting the Telecare Field Support Representatives as required.
Support sales and activity target through effective promotion of Telecare products by building and maintaining positive and productive relationships with customers, external stakeholders, and the community.
Training will be full time for 3 weeks 0830 to 1700.
The role hours can be worked either over Monday to Friday 0900 to 1300 (20 hours) or Monday to Thursday 0900 to 1430 (20 hours).
The shift includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Qualifications Ko wai koe - About you: To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated experience and understanding of the New Zealand Health and social care environment.
Previous experience in a customer contact role and passion for delivering excellent customer service.
A 'Can do' attitude focused on achieving results and doing what is required to achieve success.
The ability to work in a high-paced and changing environment.
Demonstrable personal commitment to and promotion of St John Core Values.
The most important attributes we are looking for are attitude and the willingness to learn.
