Seeking an accomplished Structural Engineer to work in an internationally acclaimed consultancy as they grow into the Wellington region.
The Company: An International Engineering consulting firm that provides a range of services and has recently branched out into Structural Engineering here in New Zealand. With an established team already in Auckland and Christchurch of up to 10 plus Structural Engineers and Drafters working on a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, airports, and sports arenas. They prioritise sustainable design and have been involved in several green building initiatives.
The Role: The business has ambitious growth plans and is looking for a CPEng Structural Engineer to establish their Wellington branch. You will be required to get hands-on with designing, although as the team grows this can diminish. Business development will be key to your role (ideally you will come with contacts in the market). Long-term, you will look to build a team around you of Structural Engineers and Drafters to deliver on commercial, industrial, residential, and aged care projects.
You: Experienced CPEng Structural Engineer
A proven track record of designing complex buildings in NZ
A strong communicator, enjoying being on the tools
Some experience mentoring or managing younger Engineers / Technicians would be favoured
