They are looking for a skilled Lead RF Engineer to contribute expert knowledge in Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems and analog radio backhaul, supporting the next generation of their established communication infrastructure.About the RoleThis position requires a specialist in analog radio backhaul and Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems, focused on system refresh design. As the Lead RF Engineer, you'll oversee technical design, vendor selection, and relationship management during the solution development stage. You'll lead IP/UHF backhaul and data centre replacement efforts and guide upgrades to console voice control systems. This hands-on role also involves delegating some technical tasks to junior engineers, blending technical expertise with team leadership.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership in analog radio backhaul and LMR systems design.Lead vendor selection, manage vendor relationships, and guide solution development.Support and oversee IP/UHF backhaul and data centre replacement efforts.Delegate tasks and guide proof-of-concept work for junior engineers.Contribute to console voice control system replacement.Skills and Experience RequiredExtensive experience in Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and analog radio backhaul.Background in system design within an established, non-cellular/non-RAN context.Strong leadership skills, with experience guiding less senior engineers.Experience in vendor selection and management, with excellent relationship skills.Proven ability to work hands-on while also fulfilling a lead design role.How to ApplyClick APPLY and include your CV.
