Seeking an experienced Lead QA Specialist to join our Digital & Technology Team.
In this particular role you'll be working within our Core Transformation programme alongside business, delivery, engineering & architecture leaders in shaping our quality assurance framework(s) and execution.
As the senior QA leader, you'll ensure best-practice is applied to all aspects of the QA life-cycle and be the primary owner of Digital and Technology's engagement with all interested parties.
Key role responsibilities: Test Strategy & Planning: Developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans for products/services, ensuring full coverage and optimum test scenarios.
Documentation: Maintaining clear and concise documentation for all QA processes and results, ensuring transparency and accessibility for relevant stakeholders.
Reporting: Preparing and presenting reports on QA activities and metrics to senior management, helping inform strategic decisions.
Automation Advocacy: Championing the integration of automation across various teams and disciplines.
Versatile Testing: Conducting context-aware testing across all pertinent platforms, ensuring that the product quality is consistently maintained.
Team Leadership: Guiding, coaching, and mentoring a team of QA specialists, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their tasks efficiently.

Where your expertise matters.
Key skills and experience we're looking for: 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Experience crafting detailed test strategies, plans, and data sets, catering to all phases such as Unit, Systems, Integration, Regression, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing as necessary.
Proven experience coordinating and overseeing multiple testing streams, ensuring alignment in resource allocation, defect management, dependencies, and release schedules while setting clear objectives and expectations.
Experience overseeing and managing testing demands at both project and program levels, collaborating with testing teams to ensure adherence to agreed delivery timelines.
