Lead Peer Support Worker – Kotuku House 24 hours per week  (Tue- 10:30-3:30pm, Wed- 10:30- 6:30pm, Thurs- 10:30-3:30pm, Fri- 10:30- 4:30pm) Health Action Trust is a dynamic and innovative community organisation specialising in community health promotion initiatives and professional mental health and addiction peer support services. We are currently looking for a Lead Peer Support Worker for our Kotuku Respite House, situated on a beautiful large private section in Brightwater. 
Kotuku is a 4-bed respite house where people who are experiencing emotional distress or mental health crisis can stay for up to one week as an alternative to hospitalisation.
The aim is to provide a comfortable non-judgmental environment in which guests are supported to process the stresses they are experiencing and explore new possibilities for themselves using an intentional peer support model of practice.
The Lead Peer Support worker role is based at our Kotuku Respite House in Brightwater where you will oversee and lead your specialised peer support team in collaboration with the Team Leader, and Senior Leadership Team. We are looking for a leader who has their own personal lived experience of mental distress and experience with peer support.
