They are ideally looking for someone based in Wellington but are open to location (anywhere within New Zealand).
You must have extensive expertise in iOS or Android application development and proven experience in leading and guiding a team of talented mobile developers in the design, implementation, and optimization of high-quality mobile applications. You will leverage your deep understanding of mobile platforms and technologies to drive innovation, enhance user experiences, and maintain the technical excellence of their mobile applications.
In addition to your technical skills, you will play a key role in mentoring junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment, and ensuring adherence to best practices. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams will be critical in driving successful project outcomes.
Requirements A minimum of 8 years of experience in mobile application development with a focus on iOS or Android, as a lead developer or mobile team lead.Proven track record of successfully delivering complex mobile projects with cross-functional teams.Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android).Experience with mobile development frameworks, libraries, and tools, such as React Native or Flutter.Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to every candidate individually.
