About the Role
The Lead Information Analyst role sits within the Ministry's Knowledge, Information and Analytics team. This is a Wellington based fixed-term role for 6 months (with a potential for extension if the business case is approved).
In this role, you will lead and deliver the remaining information deliverables for our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) capability Implementation Business Case. The focus of this role is to complete the high-level information architecture, enabling efficient and secure ways to collaborate on content, intuitive and user-centred content management and access, and improved governance of content.
You will join a multi-faceted, highly skilled team with accountability for:
information and knowledge management;
data and analytics;
history and heritage.
The full salary range for this role is $104,670 and $141,612 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution. The midpoint is $123,141. We expect to hire depending on your level of experience.
Who Are We Looking For?
You love an intellectual challenge and thrive in complex environments.
You are a systems thinker able to work with users to understand their information needs, assimilate those needs, and build them into content architectures and configurations that just work.
You have a strong knowledge of best information analyst and architecture techniques and methods, with extensive practical experience applying that knowledge.
Ideally, you will also have a good understanding of tikanga (Maori customs and protocols), with the ability to weave te ao Maori (the Maori worldview) into your work. If you are just starting on this journey, that's OK too as long as you have a willingness to learn and a desire to develop your cultural capability.
