We are currently seeking Field Service Engineer in the field of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to join our Honeywell Building Automation team based in Ponsonby, Auckland. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor,  you will be responsible for servicing customer sites, maximising customer satisfaction and minimising customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical support.
Key Responsibilities: · Configuration, Diagnoses Fault, repairs and Programming of PLC and third-party systems
· Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (as per trade expertise)
· Software and load configuration of Honeywell Systems and other systems required
· Carrying out hazard and risks assessments for all tasks
· Navigate and interrogate PLC interfaces and systems
· Ensuring customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients
Key Experience & Capabilities: · An appropriate Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic qualification advantageous
· Proven background in the servicing and maintenance of PLC
· Good understanding of architecture and interfaces between PLC's and SCADA or HMI systems
· Communication protocol standards like for example Modbus, BACnet and LonWorks
· High exposure to one or more PLC brands (e.g., Honeywell, Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, ABB etc.)
· Experience in SCADA systems is highly regarded
· Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
· Good communication - both verbal and written
· Commitment to customer satisfaction
· Ability to work under pressure
· Strong commitment to safety and safe working environment
