Talent Army - Winners of Innovation in Recruitment & Recruiter of the year 2023WellingtonEngineering - Software (Information & Communication Technology)Company:We are working with a global SaaS company headquartered in Australia who have engineers across NZ and Australia.They are looking for open, friendly people who are good at collaborating with others on solving problems, who aren't afraid to ask for help and are enthusiastic about helping others.Role:As the subject matter expert in this space, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and elevate their data and ML strategy and architecture.Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.Mentor a team of data and software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines to support data collection, ingestion, storage, processing, and analysis.Develop and maintain data architectures, including databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems and infrastructure.Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration practices, fostering a culture of excellence within the engineering team.Ideally, you'll have the following:5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer - with significant data or machine learning experienceSolid understanding and experience in Machine Learning algorithms and models.
