We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Data Engineer specialist seeking a new challenge to join our Data & Infrastructure Team as part of our wider agile Digital Group. This position will facilitate the development and administration of data throughout the organisation.
You will be designing and project managing our data architecture to move from on-prem to cloud and ensuring our business captures the required data and enabling data-driven decisions, assisting our analysts/developers in building and maintaining our data platforms (both in-house and cloud) and introducing new ways to analyse and maintain data.
You will have 5+ years of experience in Data platform architecture, ETL, data modelling and APIs. Your skills and experience of data dimensions, transforming fact, dimension and aggregate tables will make you a stand-out applicant.
Strong knowledge in SQL, Azure Data Factory, Power BI dashboard development, and storage is a must and being familiar with MS Fabric, Python and Apache Spark will be highly valued. Your ability to bridge the gap in translating technical information into clear business language would be an expectation.
