Across the length and breadth of Aotearoa you are never too far from our work, our roots lie in infrastructure with 100 years of experience, from safe holistic and integrated transport solutions to urban regeneration and climate & disaster resilience and adaptation - we are making everyday better.To support our growth within the region and our significant project wins we are looking for an experienced Senior Land Development Engineer to join us and work with key clients in the land development sector primarily working on redevelopment of public housing, however given our involvement in land development projects across New Zealand and further afield, you will also have the opportunity to work on other projects throughout New Zealand across the Pacific.Each day will be varied and provide new opportunities; however you will primarily be responsible for:Providing technical mentoring, guidance and support to other members of the teamPlanning, managing and leading the civil design delivery of a large programme of works, including being responsible for resource planning, budgets and qualityDeveloping and managing effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, project partners and internal team membersTechnical review and verification of civil designs prepared by othersTimely delivery of design packagesKo wai koe | About youYou love to share knowledge and you're someone who can bring a fresh perspective. You are an experienced Senior Civil Engineer operating in the Land Development sector with a passion for design and problem-solving. You're motivated and keen to succeed and make a difference. You have broad general civil engineering design skills, with particular experience in the design, consenting and delivery of site development/ land development projects in New Zealand. Previous design team leadership or people management experience would be advantageous in the role, however this isn't essential and could be an opportunity for a high performer to step up into a leadership role.You will be a Chartered Professional Engineer (or working towards this) and will have knowledge and skills in working with software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3d or 12d. You will have an enquiring mind, able to problem solve and think laterally.
