The Lead Analyst provides strategic analytical support and advice to a range of Polytechnic staff, managers, and Executives. The Lead Analyst will work closely on analysis of strategic relevance to Open Polytechnic. The Lead Analyst will assist the Manager, Strategic Insights Team in the development, co-ordination, and execution of strategic initiatives. As a senior member within the team, the Lead Analyst will also take on a mentoring and coaching role of Analysts.
The ideal candidate will have: 5+ years of experience in the Vocational Education SectorExperience co-ordinating and leading initiatives from development to implementationAn analytical based degree with a focus on critical thinkingKnowledge of research methodologiesAbility to see beyond data to provide real insights into businessExperience working with complex, ambiguous and risky issues, and applying judgements to those issuesAbility to create practical solutions to complex and ambiguous problemsAlso, the ideal candidate will be competent working with: Microsoft data visualisation & analysis tools (Power BI, Excel, SSMS)SQL Programming languageNga pukenga mo te tunga | What you will bring to the role You will have a passion for impacting the lives of everyday people and seeing them achieve their educational goals and dreams.
