This not-for-profit entity is embarking on an exciting growth journey and is hence seeking an open-minded and knowledgeable Lead Advisor to support them throughout.
Key responsibilities In this varied and interesting role, you'll be working in close cohesion with the Executive Director and Board of Trustees and will ultimately be responsible for developing and implementing the determined programme of work. In summary, the role can be split into two areas of focus: providing trusted advice to the Executive Director and leading the rollout of the organisation's operational plans. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the development of strategic and operational projects, including:Feasibility studiesFinancial modelling and statistical analysisPolicy and impact analysisBusiness case developmentCollation and documentation of informationProject tracking and evaluationLeading the implementation of agreed projects, which may include long-term strategy, communications, property, sustainability, resourcing, and policy development.Engaging with ministry boards and their Executive Leadership Team to identify needs and priorities.Developing communication tools, content, and resources, and coordinating the distribution of materials (e.g., website, digital newsletters).Developing and implementing policies and procedures as agreed and directed.Encouraging and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.Qualifications and requirements To be successful in this role, you will ideally hold a qualification related to management and/or project management, with a strong understanding of governance and leadership in the not-for-profit or government sector. You should be a natural people person and a strong communicator with the ability to lead and steer high-level conversations. A high attention to detail and experience in both report writing and reviewing are essential.
