What is the Opportunity?
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Arjo team and work within Auckland Operations as a Medical Equipment Laundry Technician .
The role of the Medical Equipment Laundry Technician is responsible for supporting our rental operations team by cleaning, post-rental equipment checks, and repairs on our rental equipment, making it available for delivery to a range of hospitals and private care facilities.
No previous medical experience is necessary, and full on-the-job training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Laundering, testing, and maintaining medical equipment.
Equipment cleaning and laundry duties are attended to in a prompt and efficient manner to ensure items are laundered, cleaned, and disinfected in accordance with the company's Equipment Cleaning and Decontamination and Infection Control policies. All necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be supplied.
Equipment testing and performance verification duties to ensure items are tested and available for use in accordance with product Performance Verification Checklists.
Adequate stock maintained in the vehicle for efficient service to be maintained.
To be successful in this position, you will possess:
Excellent communication skills.
Good time management and logistics skills.
Be physically fit (trolleys will be provided).
A passion for delivering excellent customer service as there will be some liaising with clients.
Be well-presented as you will at times be the face of the company.
