About the role
We are looking for an exceptional Laundry Assistant to join our team, working in our commercial laundry business based in Ellerslie.
This is a permanent, full-time position doing laundry for multiple Care Homes within Retirement Villages around Auckland.
This is a full-time, permanent position working a roster 40-hour week (Monday to Sunday), so flexibility around shifts/days is required.
Some of the great things you will be doing:
Working in the laundry with sorting incoming laundry, loading machines, pressing garments to folding of clean linen.
Packing of clean linen for delivery.
Cleaning and tidying of laundry.
Working within a team.
About youIdeally, you will have some experience working in a commercial laundry environment or similar.
You must be physically fit as heavy lifting is required and enjoy interacting with a variety of different people.
You must also be flexible with your availability.
