Laser / Plasma Operator

Our client is a leading steel processing company that specializes in the delivery of integrated steel solutions. They provide pressing, rolling, and profiling services to different industries all throughout New Zealand. We have an excellent opportunity that currently exists for an experienced Profile Operator to join our vibrant team.Your main responsibilities will include:Operate Laser/Plasma machinesIdentify and pick steel productBevel and drill materialOperate overhead gantry cranesLoad and unload material on the cutting tableSet up machines and perform pre-start proceduresInterpret part drawingsFollow detailed work instructionsTo be successful, you will have:Previous experience operating laser and plasma machinesSound knowledge of warehousing and machine operationsExperience operating overhead gantry cranes, highly regardedCurrent Forklift licence, highly regardedExcellent communication skills and strong work ethicYou will be provided with continuous training, ongoing support, and a commitment to achieve positive results, all while you grow within a well-established organisation.
