Language teacher - primary school/high school Part time, Fixed term, FTTE up to: 0.4, Start Date: 28/01/2025, End Date: 12/12/2025 (Cover whilst recruiting)
Wa Ora Montessori School is an Area School based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, catering for approximately 300 children and is the only Montessori School in New Zealand that nurtures the child from 0 to 18 years. We are a community based school with close connections to our whanau (families).
We are seeking a fixed-term part-time language teacher FTTE 0.42 (10.5 hours) to join our friendly and collaborative staffing team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in a specific language (other than Mandarin/Chinese), have current New Zealand teacher registration and be capable of sparking interest and teaching students from Y1–13 (6-18 years of age).
The position will be delivered as follows:
Tuesdays – 12.30–3pm (6-12 year olds)
Thursdays – 9am–11.45am (15-18 year olds) and 12.30–3pm (6-12 year olds)
Fridays – 9–11.45am (12-15 year olds)
