The work includes a mix of working with a crew and on your own.Leading HandReporting to our Landscaping Project Manager and Site Foreperson, this role is to take a leading hand position in delivering our long-term contracts for Landscape Maintenance in Queenstown.
This opportunity is suited for someone with previous landscaping maintenance experience looking to step up, or for a candidate who has similar experience running and organising a team in the field.General HandReporting to our Landscaping Foreperson on site, this role is for a general hand, this opportunity is ideally suited for someone with previous landscaping maintenance experience; however, candidates with no experience will be considered for this role if they have adaptable work experience and a can-do attitude.Both roles are generally located from our site office in Hanley Farm, and we have travel options available from Alexandra.Ongoing training and licencing opportunities are provided in full-time roles.The ideal candidates will need to demonstrate the following attributes:Full Class 1 driver's license (minimum)Enjoys working outdoors in all weathersPhysically fit and reliableCan work alone or be part of a teamFor the right candidates, there are opportunities for future training, qualifications, apprenticeships, and career progression within a safe and enjoyable workplace.Whitestone Contracting Limited is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
