This is a hands-on role, based predominantly on-site, at a range of locations within the Auckland region. We are looking for someone with both practical and technical landscape construction experience as well as design training, whether in architecture, landscape architecture or another related discipline. This is a hybrid role which will require excellence in both craft and design skills, and will involve regular collaboration with other designers, landscape gardeners and clients.Previous experience is not essential; however, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of practical skills, combined with clear design thinking which aligns with our studio's kaupapa. We highly value material reuse and seek to incorporate this in our projects in crafted and beautiful ways. Therefore, we are looking for someone with an appreciation for environmentally sensitive approaches to landscape construction.The ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of people is also required. This role will involve frequent collaboration with both our design team and our clients to realise the project's vision. At times this role may also require team leadership of others in the landscape construction team.
