The Role Millbrook Resort's landscape is iconic, providing a peaceful setting that allows people to 'escape the everyday.'
The role provides the opportunity to ensure the gardens around the resort and the properties are maintained to the highest horticultural standards, providing quality services and adding real value to the operation.
This is a key position and the successful candidate will need to have a strong focus on excellence and being part of a collaborative team, with a 'can do' attitude and a flexible approach.
We are looking for someone who loves working outdoors in all weather conditions and has knowledge of a variety of landscape maintenance activities.
Success Profile Previous gardening experience essential; a tertiary qualification in Horticulture desirable.Proven experience in operating small plant machinery such as chainsaws.Knowledge of maintenance activities such as irrigation control, arboriculture, lawn management, and pest control are desired.Excellent communication skills, coupled with a 'can do' attitude.Must be physically fit and able to regularly lift weights greater than 20kg.Willingness to learn new tasks and develop horticultural knowledge.Self-driven with an ability to work independently.Relevant horticulture qualification would be advantageous.Hours: Full time (30/40 hours per week guaranteed)
