Land Surveyor

Seeking land surveyor for work Auckland wide with a South Auckland based civil contractor.
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience. Daily tasks include (among others):
All aspects of surveying including using GPS, Total Station and other surveying instruments/equipment.
Producing plans including topographical, cut/fill, as-builts, and plans to support claims/variations.
Assisting site personnel with general site needs such as set outs, heights, and survey control.
Assisting quantity surveyors/estimators/management with estimating, variations and payment claims.
Ensuring survey equipment is maintained, calibrated and kept in good working order.
The candidate will need to be practical and pragmatic with a solution-based approach, and the ability to work with a team. They will also need to have the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment, and to be capable of building strong relationships both within the business and with clients and other parties.
