Job Title: Demolition Labourer

Location: Wellington, New Zealand

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description: As a Demolition Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various physical tasks to assist in the safe and efficient demolition of structures. You will work as part of a team under the supervision of a site manager to ensure that all work is carried out according to safety standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual labour tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials

Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively

Assist with the demolition of structures, including walls, floors, and roofs

Sort and remove debris and recyclable materials

Follow all health and safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear

Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time

Perform site clean-up and ensure the work area is safe and tidy

Requirements:

Previous experience in construction or demolition work is preferred but not required

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

Knowledge of safe work practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Strong work ethic and reliability

Ability to work well in a team environment

Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime if needed

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
