Your work will support both domestic and international geothermal industries in the management of geothermal reservoir operations and greenfield geothermal developments. You will have the opportunity to apply or develop your skills on a wide range of modern analytical equipment, becoming a technical expert in your area of work. Some of the techniques you will be using include:Thermo Fisher/Agilent ICP-OES and -MSAbout youThe ideal candidate will have the following:A tertiary qualification in chemistry or a desire to work in an analytical chemistry laboratoryPractical knowledge of and experience in laboratory equipment and proceduresAbility to work to strict procedures in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratoryGood knowledge of quality systems and the ability to solve technical problemsMeticulous attention to detail, including clear and accurate record keepingEffective communication and computer skillsExperience with a Laboratory Information Management System would be an advantageGood interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team and to cooperate with colleaguesAbility to relate to clients and support the laboratory's customer-centric cultureIf you want to work for a dynamic, progressive and multi-cultural organisation, then GNS Science could be the place for you.
