Laboratory Technician

Join ANZCO Foods Eltham as a Laboratory Technician. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will be part of our enthusiastic laboratory team. In this role, you will provide quality laboratory technical assistance which meets all ANZCO Foods standards and compliance requirements.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsuring all sample-taking methods and practices are undertaken to a high standard with awareness of carrying out good laboratory and safety practices.Maintain awareness of accreditation and regulatory standards and requirements.Ensure samples received are processed by appropriate methods for that sample type and results are forwarded to the appropriate persons in an efficient and timely manner.Enter and process results and forward these to the appropriate people.Skills and ExperiencePrior laboratory experience in an IANZ certified laboratory is desirable.A microbiology or equivalent qualification is preferred for the role.A sound knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements and laboratory practices.Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Word and Excel.Experience working as part of a laboratory team.About ANZCO FoodsANZCO Foods is one of New Zealand's largest exporters employing a team of 3,000 staff worldwide.
