Our world class technology, meticulous production values, the highest levels of ethical production and our adherence to environmental sustainability all contribute to our reputation for food excellence.Our Pukeuri plant are currently seeking a motivated and experienced person to join as a Laboratory Technician/Compliance Auditor, as a part of the Laboratory team.Our Laboratory is IANZ accredited and provides chemistry and Microbiological analysis for our Pukeuri Meat Processing Plant, testing and analysis of all meat products, co-products, and potable and wastewater. The role is split between the Laboratory and Compliance team and is day shift Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm, with the expectation of some overtime as required.The key responsibilities of the role include:Undertaking internal audits/verifications to ensure ongoing compliance with documented systems and procedures.Working with the management team to ensure procedures, processes and plant structures meet and exceed existing requirements.Issuing instructions to ensure maintenance of hygienic product handling and processing methods.Collecting and processing of samples.Incubation and enumeration of organisms.Data Entry, checking and reporting.Other duties as required.Nga painga - what's in it for you?We are an employer that is committed to making a difference for families and communities and supporting people to build rewarding careers.
