Awanui Veterinary provides a range of veterinary pathology services to clients throughout New Zealand.About the role | Mo te turanga:We are currently searching for a dedicated, enthusiastic and competent Laboratory Technician to work in our Biochemistry team based in the Dunedin laboratory. This is a Permanent, full-time position, 80 hours fortnight.To succeed in this role, you will need | Kia angitu, me whai koe i:Medical or Veterinary experience in Biochemistry would be desirable.A Science qualification or in the process of completing your qualification.Previous experience working under ISO 17025/IANZ accreditation would be an advantage.Ability to communicate and work effectively within a laboratory.Extremely well organised, detail-oriented, and friendly with a strong focus on quality and customer service.Ability to work well under pressure whilst working within a team.Ability to organise, prioritise and focus on daily work to meet turnaround times.If you are committed, dedicated and enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills, this could be the job for you.
