Laboratory Technician

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working, team player to join our close-knit team on a full-time permanent contract.Based at our busy Christchurch Food and Water testing Laboratory, this is a hands-on role reporting to the Section Team Leader, but which entails a degree of supervisory and mentoring duties of other Laboratory Technicians. The purpose of the role is to carry out the microbiological analysis of a variety of food and water samples.QualificationsTertiary qualification in microbiology/biologyAt least one year's experience working in a commercial Food or Water testing laboratoryAdditional InformationAlong with sound technical skills, great time-management, and an absolute commitment to quality, the ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.If this sounds like you, please get in touch!
