Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee our Nutrition Lab in a full-time (37.5 hr/wk) role.

About the Role As the Laboratory Manager, you will lead the Nutrition Lab team, ensuring the smooth operation of our IANZ accredited laboratory.
Your role will be pivotal in managing client projects, maintaining compliance with ISO 17025 standards, and delivering timely, high-quality reports.
You will also contribute to specialised analyses primarily in the chromatography area e.g.
fatty acid and amino acid profiles to support our service provision.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Guide and develop the Nutrition Lab staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.Client & Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellent service delivery.Innovation & Change: Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the lab, contributing to equipment maintenance and operational protocols.Qualifications & Experience: Appointment is reflective of skills and experience aligned to Grade 6 ($67,184 - $95,514) and located in Palmerston North.
