In this role you will be supporting the production of analytical results, which meet the needs of customers. Responsible for the support processes enabling Chemists and Microbiologists to perform their analysis and to clean up and re-cycle after their analysis.
Tasks include:
Laboratory housekeeping.Sample disposal, employing re-cycling opportunities.Discarding samples, chemicals, reagents etc using safety and environmental protocols.Operating autoclaves and dishwashers.Supporting analysts with resource supplies and testing.In this role you will bring:
Secondary education to NCEA 3 with an interest in science.Methodical approach to work.Physical ability to meet the functional job demand or the above duties.Proficient in computer use.We offer a competitive salary and staff benefits package including:
