We are truly committed to making a positive difference. In this role, you will be supporting the production of analytical results that meet the needs of customers. You will be responsible for the support processes enabling Chemists and Microbiologists to perform their analysis and to clean up and recycle after their analysis. Tasks include: Laboratory housekeeping. Sample disposal, employing recycling opportunities. Discarding samples, chemicals, reagents, etc., using safety and environmental protocols. Operating autoclaves and dishwashers. Supporting analysts with resource supplies and testing. In this role, you will bring: Secondary education to NCEA 3 with an interest in science. A methodical approach to work. The physical ability to meet the functional job demands of the above duties. Proficiency in computer use.
