ARL provides soil, plant, sap, feed quality and fertiliser testing for customers all over the country.About the RoleAs an experienced laboratory analyst, you will be part of a strong laboratory team.
You'll have the chance to work with modern analytical equipment and the latest technology.
You'll be responsible for preparing materials, operating and troubleshooting lab equipment, and reviewing data.
Along with the rest of the team, you'll ensure a quick turn-around time for our customers' samples while driving quality and looking to continuously improve the way we do things.
From the outset, together with your teammates, you will be involved in starting up the new laboratory.Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:A Science-related degreeExperience using analytical instrumentation (including ICP-MS, IC, HPLC, ICP-OES, FIA)At least 5 years' experience in a commercial laboratoryKnowledge of soil, plant or fertiliser analysis (this is advantageous but not necessary)The ability to work to and meet tight deadlinesThe ability to quickly adapt to new processes and systemsUnderstanding of H&S in the workplaceAn understanding of ISO 17025:2015Ultimately, you will work well in a team environment and bring high levels of attention to detail.
