OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to many industrial-based clients in New Plymouth.Our client is a local family business who have grown and developed consistently for 73 years. Their New Plymouth store has the largest La-Z-boy gallery in Taranaki and we are looking for an experienced consultant to manage the day to day requirements of the La-Z-boy showroom including customer service and stock management. You will working alongside other staff throughout the showroom and assisting with administrative tasks.Duties will include but aren't limited to;Serve customers in showroomAnswer telephones and respond to customer/supplier queriesInvoice and organise delivery of goods soldAssist with managing diary and delivery staffOrder product for both customer and store stock as required for all staffRaise Sales Orders for order in productManage service reportsArrange signage for any sales or promotionsEnsure all price lists are up to date in showroom and stock is correctly pricedKeep showroom organised and well presented at all times Work rostered weekends in showroom as required Undertake product knowledge in order to assist with customer serviceUndertake any other reasonable tasks as be required from time to time.The successful candidate will ideally possess the following;Retail experience with strong customer service skillsTime management with the ability to prioritise workloadsStrong administrative skills Fast learner and able to pick up new systems with easeAble to multitask and follow through on tasks until completionBenefits include:Attractive wage on offer with quarterly commission structure Working with a well-established, growing family business Only working 1 Saturday per month This is a full-time permanent role Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, working one Saturday per month, 10am – 4pm.
