Job Description
Clean and sanitize dishes, crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans with precision.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including the Café Servery, Eat & Chat Room, and Level 9 Kitchen.
Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables.
Safely dispose of kitchen waste and recycling materials according to established procedures.
Ensure kitchen tools and equipment are organized and in excellent working condition.
Follow cleaning rosters and standard procedures for deep cleaning kitchen facilities and equipment.
Qualifications
You will be:
Experienced in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced hotel or restaurant.
Physically able to lift heavy items (10-15kg minimum) and manage the demands of a busy kitchen.
Capable of working unsupervised and demonstrating initiative in a dynamic setting.
Skilled in operating industrial/commercial dishwashers is preferred.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to follow instructions and understand job requirements clearly.
Willing to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, with a positive "Can Do" attitude.
