Job description Mo te turanga | About the opportunity As Kitchen Manager you play a vital role in the wellbeing of our residents by providing high-quality, safe, and appetising meals that meet our resident's individual nutrition needs. As part of our leadership team, you will also be responsible for the overall smooth and efficient running of the kitchen service including supply and budget requirements, team management (including roster coordination), compliance with our Food Control Plan, and collaboration with the Café Manager to deliver a first-class café and bar experience for our residents and customers. Our Attitude of Living Well approach is an important philosophy at Arvida, and you will work alongside other team members across the organisation to practice and promote 'Eating Well', setting goals, and taking steps to meet our internal gold standard. Qualifications To tatou kaitono pai | What you bring Relevant qualifications.Current NZ Food Safety Certificate.At least 3 years' experience as Head Cook, Chef, or Kitchen Manager within the aged care industry or a similar environmentGood level of computer literacy including Excel and Outlook.Effective oral and written communication skills.
