Mo te turanga | About the opportunity As Kitchen Manager you play a vital role in the wellbeing of our residents by providing high-quality, safe, and appetising meals that meet our resident's individual nutrition needs.
As part of our leadership team, you will also be responsible for the overall smooth and efficient running of the kitchen service including supply and budget requirements, team management (including roster coordination), compliance with our Food Control Plan, and collaboration with the Café Manager to deliver a first-class café and bar experience for our residents and customers.

Qualifications To tatou kaitono pai | What you bring Current NZ Food Safety Certificate.
At least 3 years' experience as Head Cook, Chef, or Kitchen Manager within the aged care industry or a similar environment Good level of computer literacy including Excel and Outlook.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Leadership style that inspires and motivates, with a management approach that creates a harmonious and effective team culture.
Ability to manage a budget.
Flexibility, adaptability and able to work well under pressure with good time management.
Empathy towards older adults, good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Honesty, reliability, and integrity.
Creative and open-minded.
