The Role We have four luxury restaurants and a functions kitchen at Millbrook Resort. The role is key in ensuring each kitchen runs smoothly. The Kitchen Hands are at the heart of our kitchen team. We focus on being a part of a collaborative team, delivering a tailored five-star dining experience, whether it be during a fast-paced breakfast service, or showcasing innovative cuisine in our other high-end restaurants. We create memories that our guests never forget. This requires a high level of attention to detail to help Chefs with food preparation and someone who takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, whilst adhering to food and hygiene regulations.
Success Profile Previous experience preferred, however, not necessary as training will be provided.
Good verbal communication, coupled with a 'can do' attitude.
Self-motivated to work independently, as well as a great team player.
Must be physically fit, as the role requires manual handling.
Resilient and able to respond to a variety of situations with a collaborative and flexible approach.
Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
Driver's Licence is preferable, owing to Arrowtown location and shift patterns - you must be able to make your own way to and from work.
Hours: Full time permanent (guaranteed 30/40 hours per week), part time or casual roles.
