About the role

Our brand-new Oakridge Villas Care Home is looking for a Kitchen Hand to deliver excellent service to our residents. This role would suit someone who is wanting to start a career in the kitchen and enjoys working as part of a team as well as working unsupervised.

Shifts are on the Weekend Saturday and Sunday - 8 hours a day from 10 am to 6.30 pm

Duties include:

Collecting used dishes, running the dishwasher

General cleaning in the Kitchen

Assisting with preparation of meals

Delivering food to our care home (within the property)

Skills and Experience Required:

Commercial kitchen experience (advantageous)

Positive attitude and a strong team player

Excellent food hygiene skills

Good time management and communication skills

A Hygiene & Food Handling Certificate (advantageous)
