The Amore Italian Limited, an Italian restaurant, seeks a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic team in Christchurch. If you're passionate about maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, supporting chefs, and ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities: Assist in food preparation, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking. Ensure hot dishes are delivered promptly and meet quality standards before serving to customers. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation areas, adhering to restaurant protocols. Support the chef with cooking duties as required, especially during busy service times. Wash and store all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware in an organised manner. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain sufficient stock. Assist in customer service, ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional Italian dining experience. Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and you will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour. Requirements for the role: Good communication skills. Available to work on weekends and do late evening shifts. Physically fit to stand for longer hours. Team worker with strong interpersonal skills. Good coordination skills. Attention to detail. Ability to multi-task.
