The Madeira Hotel, situated in vibrant Akaroa, is recruiting for the summer season. The pub has a thriving food culture and has built a reputation for its excellent casual dining experience. Akaroa is a busy tourism-focused town with a great outdoor lifestyle and hospitality community. The Madeira is a local hub for young and old, whether they are local or traveling through.
We are looking to recruit someone with a passion for what they do, who has experience in the kitchen and is looking for a new challenge.
The applicant will need to meet the following requirements:
Consistently prepare high standards of food
Must be capable to work alone as well as part of a team
At least two years of experience in the kitchen
Ensure high standards of cleanliness working within our Food Control Plan
Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications.
