We are seeking an experienced Kitchen and Interior Designer who is passionate about design and delivering outstanding customer care.LivSpace designs, supplies and installs custom-made kitchens, laundries, wardrobes, and other tailored interior spaces for CARTERS' trade building partners, Group Home customers, and homeowners.LivSpace is expanding in Auckland with a dedicated site located in Mt Wellington where you will work closely with customers to understand their preferences and requirements to design and generate bespoke kitchen and interior designs for pricing and production.The ideal candidate will have experience in Kitchen and Interior Design, be proficient in computer-aided design programs, and have experience designing kitchens across a wide price range.In return, LivSpace is offering a very competitive starting salary and a collaborative and supportive working environment where you are recognized for the work you've achieved.This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team backed by a leading supplier to the building industry that has demonstrated stability and consistent strength in the building and construction market, anticipating growth through the foreseeable future.The key functions for this role include:Working closely with clients to understand their requirements and preferences to design kitchens and interior spaces tailored to their needs.Creating functional designs that are both innovative and aesthetically pleasing.Preparing detailed plans and specifications, selecting materials and finishes that are appropriate for the application and client preferences.Working with the Project Manager to convert consultations into sales, meeting or exceeding sales targets.Collaborating with suppliers and the manufacturing team to ensure successful execution of designs.Delivering an outstanding client experience, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the design to install process.Skills & Experience:Proven experience in kitchen/interior design (minimum 3 years).Competent user of design software (ideally Winner Flex).Technically capable, understands products and installation.Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.Organized, detailed with exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.What we offer:7.5% Benefits Package, including Superannuation Savings Scheme, Life & Disability Insurance.We also pay for your Southern Cross Health Insurance.Training, development, coaching, and promotional opportunities.Supportive, respectful, fun, collaborative, diverse team.Buying privileges across all Carters stores.If this sounds like you, we'd be keen to hear from you.
