Job Description: Summerset Dunedin is looking for an exceptional Kitchen Assistant (Weekends) to join the team!
About the Role: At Summerset, we place high value on providing an exceptional dining experience for our residents and visitors.
To provide this we have implemented a new food strategy, to enhance the overall dining experience for our residents and visitors.
Therefore, we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant who has a genuine interest in providing quality services.
This is a permanent, part time role working a minimum of 32 hours per fortnight, Saturdays & Sundays 9am - 5.30pm.
Your responsibilities will include: Following the requirements of the Food Control Plan to ensure that all elements are completed as documented Cleaning of all kitchen surfaces including washing dishes and removing rubbish from the kitchen Working with the chef to unload and put away stock Supporting the chef with food preparation Qualifications: About You: You will be outgoing, friendly and have a can-do attitude accompanied by great communication skills.
To be successful you will bring: Top class customer service to ensure a great experience for our residents and their guests The ability to provide high quality and timely support for the Chef Additional Information: What's in it for you?
