Key Responsibilities:         Assist chefs in the preparation of Indian menu items, including cutting and prepping ingredients.         Follow directions toward portion control, cooking standards and wastage.         Maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Wash pots, pans and other dishes.         Dispose of rubbish.         Demonstrate Indian basic food preparation skills such as deep frying, sautÃing, Idly and Dosa preparation and crafting curry bases. What We're Seeking: ·      Passion for cooking, whether through previous experience or a genuine interest in the culinary arts. ·      Attention to detail to ensure every dish meets our high standards of quality. ·      Proficient recipe following skills to replicate our signature flavors consistently. ·      Clean and organized work habits to uphold sanitation and hygiene protocols. ·      A positive attitude that fosters a supportive and collaborative team environment. ·      Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, maintaining composure under pressure. ·      Strong teamwork and time management skills for efficient kitchen operations. ·      Minimum 1-2 years of experience and knowledge about Indian food preparation. ·      Compliance with New Zealand Health (NZ)and Safety regulations and company policies ·      Willingness to undergo police vetting and drug testing. ·      NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit. ·      We offer a competitive hourly rate starting at $26 -$31.61 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.    Flexible Working Options: Full-time positions available minimum from 30 – 40 hours per week with a 7-day roster.
