This role is a floating position of Kitchen Assistant and Catering Assistant.
You will be responsible for: Carrying out general kitchen and ward duties which will include washing dishes and preparing and presenting food.Providing great customer service to our turoro (patients) and their whanau.Delivering the meal and beverage service to patients in their wards.Assisting patients to understand and select menu options.Assembling meal trays and delivering these to the wards while providing excellent customer service to our patients and their whanau.Exceptional skill and passion for food and coffee.Experience in cash management and till operations.Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to people from all walks of life.A friendly, positive attitude with the ability to maintain speed without compromising standards.Reliable with good time management.Flexible approach and a 'can do' attitude.Previous experience in a similar environment.When you work at Te Whatu Ora, you are part of a wider whanau that will support you along your journey.
