Kitchen Assistant | Ashburton at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitaha Canterbury, AshburtonMo te tunga - About the Role Permanent part-time role working 20 hours per week (Please see below for details)Are you looking to contribute to the community in a meaningful way? Health New Zealand is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join the Ashburton Hospital WellFood Department. Join our dedicated and hard-working WellFood Department and help feed our turoro (patients) and whanau (families).
You will be responsible for: Carrying out the general kitchen and cleaning duties which will include washing dishesProviding great customer service to our turoro (patients) and their whanauTray lining dishing up of meals and dessertsCollecting meal trays from our turoro (patients)Closing the caféShift Available: 0.5 FTE (20 hours a week)
3pm - 7pm Thursday to Monday
Salary starting rate $23.75 per hour. Based on the E tu Service and Food Workers collective agreement.
